At first glance, the monitor’s pixel structure is its most glaring quirk. Unlike traditional LCD panels, the QD-OLED arrangement can cause “color fringing”—a distracting visual artifact where tiny bursts of green or purple bloom in the negative space around small text. For users who spend their days toggling between spreadsheets, web browsers, and long-form documents, this lack of crispness can be a genuine hurdle, making the display feel less sharp than one might expect from a premium piece of kit.

Much of this perceived lack of sharpness stems from the monitor’s resolution.
