When Financial Lists Are Too Much

There are times when your Investment To Do list is going to seem overwhelming and impossible. You simply have too much to do. There are stock market strategies to study and property options to look into. Even if your list is large because of your own design, you can still manage it in a positive way so that you get things out of the way and off of your proverbial plate. Just because life throws a lot at you doesn’t mean that you can’t catch it all. Here’s what you need to do.
1) Prioritize. You’ve just received your Jamie McIntyre DVD and excitement creeps in. Instead of looking at your investment list as a list of things that you need to do, think about the things you absolutely have to do each day. This is going to help you shorten your daily list, while also helping you get the most important tasks done and out of the way. Each day, sit down and ask, “What do I HAVE to do today?” This way, you will automatically begin to seek out tasks that are important to you as well.
2) Delegate. In this modern world, you don’t have to do everything yourself. There are plenty of things that will pay your bills for you, handle your financial accounts, and even complete menial tasks that you need to finish. So why handle it all yourself? Look at that list of things to do and try to find ways that these items can still get done without your needing to lift a finger.
3) Let something go. If you’re honest with yourself, chances are good that one or more of the things on your list doesn’t actually need to be done right now. So, let it go. Set aside time for that stock market course immediately. Maybe 1 hour per day. You aren’t going to be seen as weaker or less of a person if you don’t get everything done, but you will be more frazzled if you try to tackle more than you truly can tackle in a certain time frame. Plus, the act of consciously letting something go will help you helps you feel more in control of your crazy life.
Motivating yourself through the tough times of life doesn’t have to be another impossible chore. Once you learn how to train your task list to be more efficient, you can start finishing more than you ever thought possible.
