Bluetti has unveiled two new energy storage systems, the EnergyPro 6K and the Apex 300, representing a significant step forward in providing comprehensive power solutions for various needs. These systems cater to different usage scenarios, with the EnergyPro 6K designed as a fixed whole-home backup solution and the Apex 300 offering portable power for homes, off-grid cabins, job sites, or RVs. Both systems share a key feature: scalability. Users can tailor the capacity and power output to precisely match their individual requirements, offering a flexible approach to energy management. This launch coincides with Bluetti’s rebranding strategy, which segments their power solutions into three distinct series: the EnergyPro line for professional whole-home installations, the Apex series for advanced energy demands and portability, and the Elite lineup of smaller portable power stations and solar generators for casual use.
The Apex 300 embodies portable power, boasting a maximum AC output of 3840W and 3072Wh of LFP battery storage. Its modular design allows for expansion by connecting it to Bluetti’s B300K, B300, and B300S battery modules, with future compatibility for yet-to-be-announced batteries. Notably, despite its powerful inverter capable of supporting both 120V and 240V loads, the Apex 300 maintains a remarkably low idle power draw of just 20W, signifying its energy efficiency. For users requiring even greater power output, multiple Apex 300 units can be linked in parallel, achieving a maximum of 11.52kW – sufficient to power most household appliances and even electric vehicles. The storage capacity is equally impressive, expandable to a substantial 58kWh with three Apex 300 units and 18 battery packs. This robust capacity can sustain an entire home during a multi-day blackout or power essential appliances like refrigerators, HVAC systems, and water pumps for extended periods. Furthermore, the Apex 300 supports up to 30,720W of solar input, maximizing its potential for renewable energy integration.
The EnergyPro 6K, on the other hand, represents Bluetti’s foray into fixed whole-home backup solutions. Marketed as a reliable, affordable, and cost-effective energy solution for small to medium-sized homes, the EnergyPro 6K offers configurable power output ranging from 5.8kW to 29kW and LFP battery storage between 7.68kWh and 38.4kWh. Designed for seamless integration with existing rooftop solar systems, the EnergyPro 6K ensures homeowners can maximize their use of renewable energy. Its compatibility with the Bluetti AT1 Smart Distribution Box allows for whole-home backup to critical circuits and automatic switchover to a standby generator when necessary, providing an uninterrupted power supply. Bluetti is also developing the EnergyPro 13K, a higher-capacity system with an output of 13.2kW to 39.6kW and storage capacity between 9.6kWh and 57.6kWh, addressing the needs of larger homes or higher energy demands.
The modularity of both the Apex 300 and EnergyPro 6K systems underscores Bluetti’s commitment to providing tailored solutions. Users are not locked into a fixed configuration and can adjust the system’s capacity and power output as their needs evolve. This flexibility extends to the Apex 300’s compatibility with various battery modules, allowing users to upgrade their storage capacity over time. Similarly, the EnergyPro 6K’s scalability ensures it can adapt to changing power requirements, whether driven by increasing appliance usage or the addition of electric vehicles. This approach not only maximizes the system’s lifespan but also optimizes the initial investment by allowing users to start with a smaller configuration and expand as needed.
The strategic segmentation of Bluetti’s product lines into the EnergyPro, Apex, and Elite series clarifies the target audience for each system. The EnergyPro series, requiring professional installation, is aimed at homeowners seeking a comprehensive and integrated whole-home backup solution. The Apex series targets users with higher energy demands and a need for portability, catering to those who require power for various applications, from off-grid living to powering job sites. Finally, the Elite series offers smaller portable power stations for casual users who need power for camping, tailgating, or emergency situations. This clear delineation of product lines simplifies the selection process for consumers, allowing them to readily identify the system best suited for their specific requirements.
While pricing details were not revealed during the announcement, it is anticipated that both the Apex 300 and EnergyPro 6K systems will start in the low thousands of dollars, with fully configured installations potentially reaching tens of thousands, depending on the chosen capacity and features. The Apex 300 is expected to be available in the US market in April, while the EnergyPro 6K is slated for release in Q2 of 2025. With these two new energy storage systems, Bluetti is poised to make a significant impact on the home energy market, offering innovative and scalable solutions that cater to a wide range of power needs. The company’s focus on modularity, scalability, and integration with renewable energy sources positions them as a leading provider in the evolving landscape of energy independence and resilience.
