Skipping over the iPhone 9, Apple introduced an upgraded iPhone 7 and 7 Plus in the shape of the new Apple iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. will be covered all the new Apple launched and products announced during the event in separate reviews.

A ton of things!

There are so many new features and changes to the Apple iPhone X that it might not be possible to cover them all in a single review. What Apple managed to get right this time is introducing a device that would give viewers a slight jolt.

After the new iPhone 8 and 8 Plus were displayed, people were getting ready to packup and head up. That is until Apple’s executives said that they have just one more thing. That’s where Apple changed everything.

Here are just some of the major features which are new to the Apple iPhone X:

All Screen – Super Retina Display

There couldn’t be more screen and less bezel on this 5.8-inch device. Apple filled the display till the edges with their brand new ‘Super Retina Display’ that brings added marvel to already spectacular pictures and video.

The new Super Retina display, when demoed by Apple during their September Launch Event, just filled the entire arena with magic. It was better than anything we had ever seen before and truly lived up to the 10th anniversary of the iPhone.

Samsung may have introduced bezel-free displays on the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy Note 8, but I’m pretty confident in saying that nothing matches what Apple just rolled out.

OLED Technology

Apple has finally adapted the LED technology by integrated a brand new OLED Display, specifically designed for the iPhone X. Apple executives during the event had blamed the previous OLED technology for not being up to Apple standards.

Now, with a contrast ration of 1,000,000 to 1 and amazing bright colors and true colors, competitors will have a hard time putting up their own devices against the Apple iPhone X.

No More Touch ID. Now, Only Face ID!

Rumors were right. Apple has gotten rid of the Touch ID forever.

No, there isn’t any fingerprint sensor under the screen or on the back. All it is now is Face ID which will allow you to unlock your Apple iPhone X by just looking at it.

This isn’t going to be any regular front-facing camera which is doing the assessing. Apple’s new TrueDepth Camera is able to adapt to your face, regardless of how your look changes from time to time and unlock your smartphone instantly.

30,000 invisible dots create a map of your face with the TrueDepth Camera. This is better than any technology of similar nature which has come before it. Face ID will also work with various apps and Apple Pay, just like Touch ID did.

It’s a technological wonder. A mixture of cameras and sensors that works like magic in the light or dark. Also what’s worth mentioning here is the security level increase.

Apple claims that previously with Touch ID, there was a 1 in 50,000 chance that your iPhone could be opened by someone else’s fingerprint. With Face ID, Apple is saying that ratio has now increased to 1 in a 1,000,000. That’s great if you ask me.

The First All Glass iPhone

Apple iPhone X is beautiful. Without a doubt.

Apple claims that the iPhone X is the most durable glass ever in a smartphone. This goes for both front and back. Steel is also part of the design’s equation and is said to be surgical-grade stainless steel.

This new design has allowed Apple to give the iPhone X capability to wirelessly charge and is sealed off to be both water and dust resistant.

iPhone Camera Revolutionized

There is only one iPhone X device. There is not any X Plus or smaller version. It is one and that’s all.

The iPhone X camera is also another wonder. It has dual 12 MP cameras with both of them having optical image stabilization and a faster, larger sensor working behind the scenes. This means amazing photography, portrait mode for the front camera as well and spectacular videos and photos regardless of light quality and angle.

Apple claims that this is the best camera technology to have ever come out in any smartphone around the world till date and it is in the Apple iPhone X.

With a brand new, specifically designed A11 Bionic chip, the Apple iPhone X is the most powerful device Apple has ever introduced. It even sounds amazing just because of its name.

This A11 Bionic is capable of up to 600 billion operations per second, allows you to play some of the heaviest and most demanding augmented reality based games and capture anything you’d like without even a minor hiccup.

Apple claims that this new A11 Bionic chip in the Apple iPhone X is 70 percent faster than the A10 Fusion and it comes with four efficiency cores as well!
