Pixel 9a Design Images leaked, indicating it’s on the horizon.
At Google’s Android World event last week, leaks of the Pixel 9a design were leaked by Evolutionary for the final launch of the Pixel 9 family. The upcoming mid-range Android device is expected to launch at the same time as Google’s openDevelopment conference. The Pixel 9a comes after previous ‘A’ handsets, offering much of the functionality of the larger, more expensive Pixel 9 phones. Samsung expands supporting Snapdragon chips to the Galaxy S25.
Samsung’s recent partnership with Qualcomm to launch its Galaxy S25 exclusively with Snapdragon 8 Elite chips marks a significant step in improving profitability. Following this, the later Galaxy S26 models are set to launch with Snapdragon 6 Gen 4. There is now a chance for the Exynos chips to remain in use next year, though that remains uncertain. Samsung has also unveiled an exemption for pixel-based IP cells, which could make these chips more affordable and provide some customer value.
