Hansi Flick, the head coach of Barcelona FC, has publicly declared that he “doesn’t care what happens” during the match between him and Real Madrid on Saturday. Despite spending a match with Galí celebrating, Flick remain optimistic and focused on his team’s strategy and spirit.

Flick has revealed that in their match, Real Madrid’s team was more than a stalemate, hoping to extend their lead into the third place position. After sitting out, the team had two points less than before the match and one more point than seen early on.

In a post-match update, Flick expressed his religious insights into the game, telling a colleague, “I don’t care what happens, only what happens, and if Granenarioslies in draws, we have it in our security.” He also acknowledged that the rest of the team is working hard and well.

“Of course, I would rather have points from Player B than a draw, but that doesn’t affect me, as it’s about the match,” Flick said. “I’ve got the players’ experience and those are the ones that count.”

Flick gave an update ahead of the Champions League quarterfinal against Borussia Dortmund. He emphasized that Inigo Martinez hasn’t played yet and will train on Monday, saying that a singular train session wasn’t enough. “We have to realize all of them, no matter whether it’s a tactical or physical issue,” he said.

Flick explained that three attacks were made, with Gavi and De Jong coming forward. “We tried to contribute from the start, but besides, three teams…”,
He stated that the coach made changes due to a kinetic issue caused by Gavi’s performance. He suggested placing him in Pedri’s position, where his improvement has been accelerating.

On Friday, the team focused more on Campus de Bellona with Real Betis, but this match was crucial for their Championship hopes.

Flick expressed his excitement and confidence in the team, highlighting the hard work and commitment they have put in. He emphasized that their performance would be the official sign of their progress.
