The Xbox One X and PS4 Head-to-Head

Microsoft faced a really hard time with the sale of Xbox one against PS4 because the latter was far ahead in the spec game and remained dominant for quite a while. The PS4 has some terrific features and outcompeted the Xbox One at that time, such as HDR & 4K. The Xbox One was also behind PS4 in the performance bracket overall and that was a universal fact.

But now Microsoft has not taken any risks and is super ready with their new beast, the XBOX One X, which is set to break all records because of it’s mighty hardware specs against which even Sony’s latest PS4 PRO cannot stand. You read that right. The PS4, in my opinion as a gamer and console fanatic, will not stand a chance against the Xbox One X.

Here’s why:

Now after seeing the above chart, it is clear that Xbox One X is far ahead in the spec game from its rival, the PS4 PRO in almost everything.

The new Xbox One X’s CPU is clocked at 2.3 GHz and has 6 teraflops of graphics, which is just insane, this will really improve the gaming performance of the console for sure. That’s not all. The Xbox One X is also equipped with 12 GB GDDR5 memory and a bandwidth of 326 GB/s which will minimize load times and will eliminate lagging.

Microsoft has also claimed that the Xbox One X is the smallest Xbox they have ever made. Despite it’s small size, it is surprisingly also the heaviest one with a weight of 8.4 pounds. One major improvement they have made is that Microsoft has gotten rid of its annoying external power supply brick.

4K HDR: Best Feature of The Xbox One X

The feature to talk about in the latest Xbox One X is 4K HDR. This will change the dynamics, visual quality and colors and almost everything about its gaming experience. In short, it will greatly enhance the visual experience, making it the best Xbox gaming console to have pretty much existed till now.

It has an internal 4K Blu-ray disc player, so you can also watch movies and Netflix on 4K resolution.

Microsoft has made updates on some very popular games and enhanced them for 4K HDR which includes Gears of War, FIFA 18, Forza Motorsport 7 and many other popular games.

But the users will only be able to experience the 4K HDR quality if they have a 4K/1080p capable TV .

The only demerit you can face is the low drive space because only one game with a 4K update will take a whole lot of space. You can expect it to take more than 150 GB and a 1 TB of hard drive would fill with pretty much 4 or 5 games with the 4K update.
