If you are like me and fed up with dealing with slow smart TV’s, hooking up your laptop through an HDMI port and frustrated because of slow screen sharing options limited to Android, than the Xiaomi Mi Box in Pakistan is definitely for you.
The Xiaomi Mi Box in is everything that I was hoping for and a little more. It’s great for viewing YouTube, Facebook videos, Netflix and other streaming apps. Works seamlessly while playing even HD videos at either 720P, 1080P and even 4K.
Unlike most of the smart tv’s we have available here in Pakistan, the Xiaomi Mi Box is fast, responsive and easy to use. Smart TV’s on the other hand are quite sluggish, outdated and some run previous versions of Android which don’t allow you to use the latest applications.

I had trouble with my Samsung Smart TV when it came to using Netflix. The version of Android wasn’t updated and the latest Netflix app version was incompatible. I checked out a ton of Android TV boxes, but being afraid of wasting my money, I didn’t go for the generic, unbranded versions.
Instead, I chose to go with Xiaomi.
Xiaomi smartphones are pretty cool and better than any other Chinese smartphone on the market right now. Their ‘smart gadgets’ also have good reviews, but not having any experience with Android boxes other than the PTCL Smart TV really made the decision a tough one to make.

Where Did I Get My Xiaomi Mi Box in Pakistan From?
This was another hard choice to make. Since I was purely going with the top eCommerce websites in Pakistan, I had a pretty large variety of options to choose from. Some eCommerce stores had better prices than others, but my primary focus was quality.
My previous experience with AllMyTech.pk has been great. They serve a niche market and have a minimalist, quality focused approach. Another reason I chose to go with AllMyTech.pk was because they don’t do dropshipping. They have their products and customers usually get what they ordered within a couple of days.
Other ecommerce websites in Pakistan usually take much longer. One time, I even had to wait over a month for one order, which I obviously ended up cancelling.
This is the biggest reason why I chose to go with AllMyTech.pk for my Xiaomi Mi Box:
Spending a little more than what I could have saved on other websites for guarantee of quality caught my eye. After all, if I was going to spend PKR Rs. 9,500 for the Xiaomi Mi Box in Pakistan, might as well get the best quality I could. W
Why go through a whole other series of headaches in returning products and dealing with customer service for days on end? Fortunately, I could not have been happier with the decision I made.

Now, I’m not what you can call a ‘power user’ of any sort. You will not see me hooking up multiple screens and streaming content over the air and adding in a couple of gaming consoles. All I was looking for was a good experience when it came to watching Netflix, YouTube and other videos on my tv.
Nothing more, nothing less.
This Xiaomi Mi Box has done an excellent job of that. Never has it lagged, cracked up or even slowed down for a second. Streaming HD video has been smooth and fast. This really does depend on the type of internet connection that you have.
The faster your internet connection, the better this device will work. It also fully supports Kodi and all those other cool apps that let you stream content from anywhere in the world. Just remember that the Xiaomi Mi Box is powered by Android TV, which is not the exact same OS as most Android Smart TV’s have.
